Deus is a new product that came out in the summer of 2022, designed by the famous blogger John Calliano (Anton Gayvoronsky). This brand is characterized by its strength (even Russians find it strong) and its minimalist design. At the moment, there are 15+ flavors in the line.

 

Our feedback

 

Deus is quite strong, but liquid nicotine is not involved in the production. It contains only natural nicotine from the leaf. The leaves are cut finely and smoothly. We advise beginners to try this brand with caution as it is more suitable for experienced users. It is less likely to give a choky taste than other high-strength leaves. What is the difference between a strong and a harsh mix anyway? Well, we reckon a lot of shisha packers in Hong Kong still have yet to be able to distinguish them. (A strong shisha does not necessarily mean it will give you discomfort or a choky feeling in the throat. Most of the time, the reason for a harsh shisha is caused by poor heat management.)

 

When inhaling, you can taste the intensity of the flavour. It stays on your palate for a long time, allowing for a pleasant smoking experience. You may want to compare this with Bonche or Tangiers. It does share a similar strong flavouring background but it’s not as powerful, making it perfect for intermediate users as well.
