On Sunday, June 8th, the Achromic Lounge transformed into a vibrant hub for shisha lovers as YNM teamed up with SOBER for an exclusive shisha flavor tasting session, proudly featuring the SARMA brand.
We explored a curated selection of 20+ unique flavors, mingled with fellow enthusiasts, and enjoyed a welcoming, smoke-filled atmosphere.

Event Highlights
A Full House of Enthusiasts
The lounge buzzed with excitement as guests arrived, greeted by the sight of 21 pipes lined up and ready for action. The setup was nothing short of impressive, with tables covered in beautifully packed bowls labeled for each SARMA flavor. Everyone was eager to dive in!
Flavor Lineup
Participants had the chance to sample an extensive variety of flavors, ranging from herbaceous Sorrel and refreshing Tarragon Lemonade to decadent options like Cedar Ice Cream and the classic Russian Honey Cake. Fruity blends such as Green Apple, Mango Lime, Pineapple Juice, and Currant Juice were crowd favorites, offering both familiar and surprising notes.

1. Green Apple
Verdict: Perfection in a puff. 9.5/10
If you’re a fan of green apple juice, you’re going to fall in love. This flavour is the real deal—authentic, crisp, and refreshingly true to its name. We couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. It’s bright, tart, and just sweet enough. Truly, it’s the green apple of your dreams.
2. Red Apple
Verdict: Juicy and sweet with zero artificial aftertaste. 9/10
Red apple flavours can be hit or miss, but Sarma nails it just as flawlessly as with their green apple. It’s a sweet, juicy, long-lasting taste that doesn’t veer into that plastic territory you sometimes get with other brands (like Molodost. Opps). We liked this way more than Molodost’s apple. If you love apple, you’ll love this.
3. Mango Lime
Verdict: A game-changer for mango skeptics. 9/10
Mango Lime is Sarma’s top seller—and now we know why. Even if you’re not usually a mango person, this blend might convert you. The mango hits up front, while the lime lingers subtly in the background, striking a perfect balance. Not too sour, not too sweet—just right. Our guests raved about this one, and it’s easy to see how it became Sarma’s signature.
4. Sorrel
Verdict: For the adventurous, herbal fan. 8.5/10
If you’ve never tried sorrel before, imagine the tangy, garden-fresh taste of sour green herbs. It’s similar to the sour pickled greens (酸菜）found in Asian cuisine, but milder and with a fresh, vegetal twist. Sorrel is a traditional herb in Russia, often used in soups, and here it delivers a unique, herbal note that stands out from the usual basil or tarragon. If you love herbal flavours, this is a must-try.
5. Pineapple Juice
Verdict: Versatile, juicy, and never too sweet. 8/10
We’ve learned to trust anything Sarma labels as juice. Their Pineapple Juice flavour is no exception: it’s a rich, authentic pineapple taste—never cloying or overly tropical. This one’s versatile enough to mix with almost anything, serving as an excellent base or a star on its own. A pleasant surprise all around.
6. Currant Juice
Verdict: A Ribena lover’s dream. 8/10
Black currant flavours are rare enough, but finding one that nails the juicy, drink-like character is even rarer. Sarma’s Currant Juice does just that—it’s rich, deep, and reminiscent of classic black currant drinks like Ribena. If you’re after a true black currant experience, this is the one to try—especially since good currant flavours are few and far between (apart from Duft Black Currant, which is also excellent).
Conclusion
Whether you’re after something fresh and fruity, tangy and herbal, or rich and juicy, Sarma’s lineup has something for everyone. We were genuinely impressed with how true-to-life and well-balanced these flavours are—no weird aftertastes, no artificial notes, just pure, intense taste.
As the smoke filled the room, the lounge became a cozy, communal space. Attendees were able to taste flavours that they rarely have the chance to try, discussed tasting notes, swapped tips, and shared their favorites.
With so many flavors to try, everyone left with a new favorite—or three! We certainly hope this experience helps enrich their shisha knowledge and taste library!
